Data handled by the extension
The extension may handle the following information only to provide its user-facing header management and network inspection features.
Configuration data
Environment profiles, header names and values, enabled state, and extension preferences entered by the user.
Network request data
URLs, methods, resource types, request and response headers, request bodies, response bodies, status codes, timing, IP addresses, cache details, and errors.
Active tab information
The title and URL of the active tab, used to associate captured requests with the page shown in the Network Inspector.
Local game statistics
Scores and progress for the optional mini-games included in the extension.
Network data may contain website content or authentication information depending on the websites and APIs used. The extension processes this information only to display it locally and to apply header rules explicitly configured by the user.
Storage and retention
Environment profiles, preferences, and game statistics are stored locally through Chrome extension storage. Captured network data is stored temporarily per tab in Chrome session storage. Users can clear captured requests from the Network Inspector, and per-tab capture data is removed when the corresponding tab is closed. Removing the extension deletes its locally stored extension data according to Chrome's standard behavior.
Data sharing and transmission
The extension does not send collected data to the developer or to external analytics, advertising, or data-processing services. It does not sell, rent, or transfer user data to third parties. All extension data processing occurs locally in the user's browser.
The extension does not use remotely hosted code. All executable code is included in the package reviewed by the Chrome Web Store.
How data is used
Data is used only to apply user-configured header rules, display network request details, preserve local preferences, and maintain local game progress. It is not used for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, lending, or unrelated purposes.
The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
User control
Users can disable header rules, clear captured requests from the extension interface, or uninstall the extension to remove locally stored data. The extension does not maintain a server-side account or server-side copy of user data.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data practices change. Updates will appear at this URL with a revised effective date. For privacy questions, use the developer support contact listed on the Environment Header Manager page in the Chrome Web Store.
